During the second transnational project meeting (TPM2) in Spain, the DigiWork team seized the opportunity to conduct a series of insightful video interviews with key project stakeholders. These interviews were designed to capture the experiences, reflections, and strategic insights of the partners, providing a comprehensive view of the project’s progress and the collaborative efforts driving it forward.
1. Purpose and Planning The primary goal of these interviews was to document the mid-project reflections and gather qualitative data on the project’s impact thus far. The interviews were meticulously planned in advance, with a focus on capturing a diverse range of perspectives from the seven staff members representing the partner organizations. Each participant was briefed on the key topics to be discussed, ensuring that the conversations were focused and productive.
2. Content and Focus Areas The interviews covered several critical areas of the project, including the challenges and successes encountered during the research and focus group phases, the development and testing of the video modules, and the ongoing dissemination efforts. A particular emphasis was placed on evaluating the qualitative progress of the project and the effectiveness of the implemented strategies. The participants also discussed the integration of feedback from the adult learners and the ways in which this feedback had shaped the development of the e-learning modules.
3. Interview Process Conducted in a collaborative and open environment, the interviews allowed each participant to share their insights and experiences candidly. The questions were structured to elicit detailed responses that could provide valuable information for the project’s ongoing evaluation and future planning. The interviews were recorded in high quality to ensure clarity and were edited to highlight the most impactful moments, making them engaging for viewers.
4. Key Insights and Outcomes The interviews revealed several key insights, including the importance of flexibility in project implementation, the value of integrating real-time feedback from learners, and the effectiveness of the collaborative approach among the partners. One of the standout moments from the interviews was the discussion on how the project had successfully adapted to the needs of adult learners over 45, particularly in terms of content accessibility and relevance.
5. Dissemination and Impact The video interviews were later published on the DigiWork YouTube channel, where they have been well-received by the project’s audience. These videos not only serve as a testament to the hard work and dedication of the project team but also provide a transparent look into the inner workings of the project, making them an invaluable resource for future projects and stakeholders interested in adult education.
6. Contribution to Project Goals The interviews conducted during TPM2 have significantly contributed to the project's overall objectives by enhancing communication among partners and offering insights that have informed the ongoing development of the video modules. They have also played a crucial role in the project's dissemination strategy, allowing a broader audience to engage with the project’s progress and learn from its successes and challenges.
